About this deal

I'm glad the Hufflepuffs finally got to see what Rowling envisioned for them in spite of it never making it into the books.

I was expecting a bunch of new information about secret rooms and passageways, but the majority of it wasn't even based on Hogwarts as a location - it was all about objects and artefacts that are in the books like the philosopher's stone and the sword of Godric Gryffindor. What you could improve is don’t waste the pages about Pottermore😠 just do that and I’ll give you 5🎖. The series will be remembered for its faultless narration, the obsession it caused with Potterworld, the most perfectly formed fantasy world (yes, even better than Westeros) and the most endearing characters ever written about in children's literature.Aside from its role in The Goblet of Fire, I know little about this location, but have always found it to be a mysterious presence lingering in the background. You can change your choices at any time by visiting Cookie preferences, as described in the Cookie notice. The first segment focuses on a location that is not mentioned at length in the series and never glimpsed throughout the films: the Hufflepuff Common Room. K. Rowling and Pottermore will offer the “Stories of Hogwarts,” and they’ll include never-before-seen content. Dumbledore knows that life can pass you by while you are clinging on to a wish that can never be—or ought never to be—fulfilled.

Her headmaster at St Michael's, Alfred Dunn, has been suggested as the inspiration for the Harry Potter headmaster Albus Dumbledore. She had a difficult homelife; her mother was ill and she had a difficult relationship with her father (she is no longer on speaking terms with him).So in this we get to know only little on characters but are educated rather about places and objects that are either in or around Hogwarts (or somehow connected) and play a central part in the story. This one was the best one out of the three, with each chapter leading seamlessly to the next touring most of Hogwarts and its' little secrets in one go. I have already reviewed H eroism, Hardship and Dangerous Hobbies as well as Power, Politics and Pesky Poltergeists if you want to check it out. The information included within these books are fun and helpful and give more insight into the world we already know and love. Rowling had intended for Harry to visit all of the Houses' common rooms but in the end she couldn't find an excuse for him to go to the Hufflepuffs.

Newt Scamander was surely enamored with The Great Lake as it is the home of numerous species of magical creatures. The advice to ‘hold on to your dreams’ is all well and good, but there comes a point when holding on to your dreams becomes unhelpful and even unhealthy. Thus, I'm hoping we'll get even more insight into the single houses, their places and traditions and stuff.

It felt even shorter than the other two eBooks simply because there wasn’t really new information in it. It compliments this information further by talking about animagi and werewolves and gives more information on these subjects.

The script book was published to mark the plays opening in 2016 and instantly topped the bestseller lists. This has just made me wish even more than I already did that we could actually read Hogwarts: A History. A very eye-opening a collection of notes and short stories from JK Rowling about Hogwarts and the Wizarding World.
