In 1999, a new Volvo logo was introduced. Similar to the previous iteration, this emblem featured the wordmark for the brand inside of the iconic circle and arrow shape. The badge, introduced by Volvo in 2014, had the same composition, with the silver ring and the arrow pointing diagonally upright, but on this version, the blue banner did not overlap the rounded frame but was enclosed into it.
