Precision-Ground Teeth: Razor-sharp teeth with four cutting angles ensure efficient and precise cuts. Due to the size and nature of some items, we're unable to despatch them via our usual delivery services. All saws from the Gomtaro series come with a lightweight, polypropylene scabbard with detachable belt holder. The scabbard is incorporated with two rollers to prevent the sharp teeth damaging the case. The bottom part is equipped with a hole that drains water and saw dust. The manufacturing process also uses the technique of high-frequency electro-impulse hardening during which the teeth are heated and hardened. Importantly, only the teeth are hardened, not the rest of the blade. Thus the blade retains its original flexibility whilst the teeth have a life which is up to 3 times longer than that on standard saws.

Generally you should experience fewer vibrations and use less effort enabling longer work and improved productivity. Gomtaro blades cannot be re-sharpened due to the use of electro-impulse hardening in the manufacturing process.WARNING. The Gomtaro Pro-Sentei brings together large and fine teeth on one single blade. For the creation of the sawing cut for little twigs you can use the fine teeth on the last 80 mm of the blade. For the full use of this pull saw you use the large teeth to saw faster.

The scabbard is designed so that the saw can't fall out of it, but can still be withdrawn with just one hand when needed. Ideally the blade should be cleaned with a solvent being careful to keep it away from the handle – this will help prolong its useful life. Store away from moisture. The blade must be kept clean to maintain its efficiency. Resin dissolves in olive oil, which is an effective and environmental friendly way to maintain the blade with. More aggressive liquids can damage the rubber material of the handle. Silky Saws are manufactured from SK-4 carbon steel and cut out by a laser. The teeth are designed with no set which means they are formed inside the width of the blade – this reduces friction and enables a cleaner, faster and easier cut. Many other saws have teeth formed to project outside the width of the blade requiring much greater effort when sawing.
