The boundless excitement and need to empty the tank keep things lively and on-the-go, There are many trinkets in this film that pop up here and there, making a second watch worthwhile. For example, an escaped deadly poisonous snake on the local news later ends up on the train and actually becomes an interesting thread in the plot. And, a costumed train mascot (played by Zazie Beetz) that gets bullied early on by passengers turns out to be a lethal assassin named The Hornet. What’s also fun is the references to Thomas the Tank Engine made by the assassin Lemon, the “twin” brother of Tangerine played by Brian Tyree Henry. Bullet Train (2022) 4k Blu-ray screen photo Video

Tony Rayns provides a fairly thorough look at the cast, crew and cinematic and political scenes of Japan at the time. It’s a typically well-researched and interesting piece that is a valuable alternative to the commentary, if you don’t have the time or patience for that. Secondary Audio: English Descriptive Audio | French DTS-HD MA 5.1 | Portuguese DTS-HD MA 5.1 | Spanish DD 5.1 | Thai DD 5.1 While Bullet Train looks great on either platform, seeing it in Ultra HD makes for a more involving viewing experience that enthusiasts are sure to appreciate.celebrating violence. It's bloody and gleefully so, playing fast and loose with life and death and finding much of its humor in the bloodiest The score is also effective, with an often-funky, jazz-inflected style that played very much to my tastes. Five assassins aboard a swiftly-moving bullet train in Japan find out that their missions have something or, someone, in common. Japanese National Railways refused to support the film, so the filmmakers mix ‘stolen’ shots of the actual trains with model shots in the action scenes. The models are pretty obvious but it’s not badly done, all things considered. A sequence where a freight train blows up early on in the film looks particularly good.

Trained Professionals: The Cast (1080p, 6:53): Praising the cast: camaraderie and performances alike. Bullet Train comes to Blu-ray Disc from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment featuring 1080p AVC encoded video and lossless DTS-HD 5.1 Master Audio sound. The film is also interesting in how it subtly says quite a lot about Japan at the time by centring around the ‘economic miracle’ through the titular feat of engineering. This is then countered by showing the problems this expansion brought to the ones left behind, through the troubles Okita faced that led him to his act of terrorism. There are also aspects of the plot that touch upon the leftwing political activism that was prevalent not long before. In fact, the film’s story was inspired by a series of bombings by eco-terrorists in the 70s. Special Features definition on the smooth surfaces within the train. The film often travels around to different places and timeframes where visual diversity allows for As with most Japanese films of the period, The Bullet Train is nicely shot, with great use made of the wide frame, on top of the odd creative angle or use of depth. The final shot (or second-to-final, to be pedantic) is particularly striking, though its unusual style was actually accidental. The high-speed camera used for the sequence malfunctioned and over-exposed the footage but the shot was kept as it looked cool.of bloodshed where moves are precise and the blood is copious. The actors seem to have a good bit of fun with the material, too, reveling in the picture could not be any more razor-sharp if it tried. It's so good, especially in any of the many static close-ups, that it's worth pausing the image to

Catch What You Missed: Easter Eggs (1080p, 4:14): A fast paced look at some of the little winks and nods in the film, some of which Color me surprised as Bullet Train, while not perfect, it is still a perfectly fun ride that is filled with colorful characters with them all having their moment to shine. It is already one I look forward to viewing again. It was delayed a few times, and I will admit that the countless trailers and social media spots somehow rubbed me the wrong way, but it was quite a surprise. This is a train you’ll want to board. In fact, most audiences will know exactly if this is their type of film or not from the earliest moments. Even if the pace and structure are sometimes too fast and too loose, respectively, for the film to really work for all it's worth, there is no mistakingThis is a reference quality high-definition presentation that beautifully renders the film’s animated elements. Detail and definition are impeccably reproduced as images have a luminous and sparkling clarity that is appreciably three dimensional. It never left me wanting for fine degrees of subtle delineation and texture. Colors are deeply saturated with lustrous vibrancy and succulent textures that literally leap off of the screen. Primaries are particularly striking and exhibit visible gradational stages that bring out subtle degrees of separation. director of Deadpool 2, David Leitch, the end of the line is only the beginning in a wild, non-stop thrill ride through modern-day Japan.
